Our Dental Cleaning Experience

Relax in our comfy chairs as our dental team cleans and examines your teeth. Here’s how the teeth cleaning in Calgary works:

First, we remove tartar and plaque from your teeth with a professional cleaning.
Then we examine your mouth for early signs of oral cancer and diseases such as gingivitis and periodontal disease.
Next, our dental hygienists provide preventive dental care and explain ways to help maintain good oral health.
Lastly, Dr. Le examines your dental x-rays and teeth, creates a dental treatment plan if necessary, thoroughly explains your next steps, and answers any questions.

Why are Regular Exams & Cleanings Important?

Regular teeth cleanings and dental checkups are important for supporting your oral health. These routine visits help Dr. Le identify problems early on, which can help keep many manageable conditions from becoming more serious and costly in the long run.

Even if you’re a great brusher, regular dental hygiene visits help clean the areas your toothbrush and dental floss can’t reach. When plaque becomes trapped below the gum line, it turns into a hard deposit (tartar) that can irritate the gums. Our dental hygiene team removes tartar to help support healthier gums and reduce the risk of gum disease.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Le and her team for many years now and I can honestly say I wouldn’t trust my dental care anywhere else. Even after living in three different cities, I’ve always come back here and still feel compelled to leave five-star reviews.

Huge call out to the staff, in particularly Sherry, for the outstanding service when I had a crown loosen just before leaving on vacation. My usual dentist is not in Calgary and they were able to assist. Thank you

If you’re a student at AUArts I totally recommend this place. They do direct billing and it’s very accessible by transit. I guess you could walk there if you wanted to.

Dr. Le got all of my wisdom teeth out (across two appointments). Everyone at 16th Ave Dental was super friendly and so kind.

Amazing dentist, I’ve been going here for about 7 years now and never had a problem. It is very clean, easy to make an appointment and the staff is very friendly. There is free spacious parking in the back and lots seats and coffee in the waiting room.
