Types of Dentures in Calgary

At 16th Avenue Dental, we offer multiple denture solutions. Learn more about the most common options below:

Full Dentures

If you’re missing a complete set of teeth, full dentures in Calgary may be a good option for you. These dentures replace all teeth in either the upper or lower arch using a custom tooth restoration that looks and feels natural.

After the affected teeth are removed, we craft a full denture to fit the upper arch, lower arch, or both.

Partial Dentures

If you’re missing one or more teeth, then removable partial dentures can help you restore your smile and re-establish function. Partial dentures are made from durable materials resembling your gum tissue and missing teeth.

The denture’s metal framework clips onto the remaining natural teeth to hold the denture securely in place. You’ll be able to speak, eat, and smile more comfortably again!

Do Dentures Look Natural?

A common concern about dentures is that they won’t look good, which is often not the case! What used to be called “false teeth” now look and feel more lifelike than they used to.

Modern dentures use materials that have improved over time. Plus, your set is custom-crafted to match your face shape and structure. At our dental clinic, Dr. My Le, a general dentist, works with you to create natural-looking, comfortable dentures.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Le and her team for many years now and I can honestly say I wouldn’t trust my dental care anywhere else. Even after living in three different cities, I’ve always come back here and still feel compelled to leave five-star reviews.

Huge call out to the staff, in particularly Sherry, for the outstanding service when I had a crown loosen just before leaving on vacation. My usual dentist is not in Calgary and they were able to assist. Thank you

If you’re a student at AUArts I totally recommend this place. They do direct billing and it’s very accessible by transit. I guess you could walk there if you wanted to.

Dr. Le got all of my wisdom teeth out (across two appointments). Everyone at 16th Ave Dental was super friendly and so kind.

Amazing dentist, I’ve been going here for about 7 years now and never had a problem. It is very clean, easy to make an appointment and the staff is very friendly. There is free spacious parking in the back and lots seats and coffee in the waiting room.
