Your First Visit

The goal of your first visit is simple: we want to dive deep into your oral health and uncover your needs and goals. You can expect a detailed dental exam, which may include digital imaging for more detailed diagnostics. We’ll also review your dental and medical history and discuss your oral health goals with you. From there, our dentist will collaborate with you to design your personalized long-term plan.

Alberta Dental Fee Guide

To ensure fair and predictable pricing for our patients, 16th Avenue Dental follows the current Alberta Dental Fee Guide. This means you pay standard, provincially recommended rates for your treatments-no hidden markups or “premium” pricing.

Payment Plans

We believe that dental care should be accessible and that costs should never come as a surprise. For costs not covered by insurance, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit, and Cash. We also offer an in-house membership for those without insurance coverage. If you have questions about financing larger treatment plans, our front desk team is happy to discuss payment arrangements prior to starting treatment.

Student Discounts

We never want finances to be a barrier to care, especially for students. We’re here to help you support your oral health throughout your studies. We offer a student discount to help make treatment more manageable on a student budget.

Direct Insurance Billing

Our team is pleased to guide you through your insurance claims. We offer direct billing (assignment of benefits) to most major insurance providers. Our team electronically submits your claims on your behalf, so you only pay the remaining gap (co-pay) at the time of your appointment.

Amazing dentist, I’ve been going here for about 7 years now and never had a problem. It is very clean, easy to make an appointment and the staff is very friendly. There is free spacious parking in the back and lots seats and coffee in the waiting room.
